Tell Governor Nixon: Stop Missouri Voter Disenfranchisement

During the last week of the legislative session, Missouri legislators passed SB3, a repressive photo ID bill that stands to disenfranchise over 200,000 voters across the state if Governor Jay Nixon doesn't veto the bill. The proposed law would require voters to show only a non-expired Missouri or federal photo identification before they can can cast a ballot, and the information on the ID must match their voter registration information.

This bill would disenfranchise student voters, seniors, the working poor, people with disabilities and African American voters - who are up to twice as likely to lack a current non-expired state-issued ID. This is a part of a concerted effort by conservatives across the country to suppress votes and  give themselves an edge at the polls.

Governor Jay Nixon can veto this bill and show its supporters that he won't let them decide who can and can not vote in Missouri. Tell Gov. Nixon to stand up for the right to vote for ALL Missouri voters.
